Dr Sinija Rodrigues MBBS FRACGP

Dr Sinija Rodrigues obtained her medical degree from Calicut University, India. She obtained the fellowship with Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2008 and Diploma in Child Health from Sydney University. She has been working as a rural GP in Gunnedah NSW for the last 12 years serving the community, nursing homes and the local public hospital. For the past 6 years she has also been a GP supervisor. She has worked at Hornsby, Westmead, Blacktown, Nepean and Tamworth hospitals before moving to Gunnedah. Other than English Sinija can communicate in Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil. She has special interests in geriatrics, women’s health, mental health and chronic disease management. She enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds as well as teaching the doctors of the future. Outside of work Sinija enjoys music, travelling, photography and spending quality time with the family.
