Dr Elizabeth Rayment BMedSci MBBS DRCOG MRCGP FRACGP
Dr Elizabeth Rayment qualified as a doctor some 19 years ago and a GP 13 years ago. Her experience is diverse, ranging from working in cardiology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in 1999, anaesthetics and emergency in Brisbane, delivering medical care in the jungle of Borneo, being a solo GP in the Great Barrier Reef in 2000, a country GP in leafy Surrey in the UK, living in New York City to working in deprived areas on the Central Coast and is now settling in Galston.
She has a keen interest in all areas of general practice but her special interests are preventative medicine & chronic disease management, women’s health (having been awarded diplomas from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and the Faculty of Family Planning) skin checks using computerised technology & cosmetic medicine. She was awarded a distinction in her medical aesthetic training with London University and works with a plastic surgeon managing the injectable side of the busy clinic. She regularly performs minor skin operations and inserts IUDs also.
Having been a regional clinical lead for GP education in the U.K. she is an accredited examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
